If there is a "standard" model in the Bushmaster line, it is this lightweight rifle. It's
barrel - hard chrome plated in both bore and chamber - incorporates the
military type "birdcage" style flash suppressor. Other flash suppressors and
compensators are available. All steel components of the rifle are manganese phosphate
coated for complete protection against exterior corrosion and rust. The M16A2 rear
sight system is incorporated offering dual flip-up apertures: the larger "short range"
aperture (0-200 meters) offers greater light gathering as well as better moving
target visibility; the smaller aperture is designed for maximum accuracy at longer ranges.
An elevation adjustment knob is graduated from 300 to 800 meters and automatically
compensates for bullet drop. This rifle will accept the M203 Grenade Launcher. 7075T6
aircraft quality aluminum receivers are precision machined from forgings for maximum
strength. The upper receiver includes a forward assist device and an integral cartridge case
deflector. The lower receiver has a last round bolt hold open feature to alert the shooter
of an empty magazine. The ribbed front handguard offers increased control and heat dissipation,
and is molded of polymer thermoset composite. The Bushmaster M16 A2 Type Rifle is shipped
complete with 30 round magazine, instructional manual, carrying sling and cleaning kit - all
packed in a lockable hard plastic carrying case.

The A3 Type Rifle differs in that it's Upper Receiver is “flat-top” style with an integral Picatinny rail
to offer a variety of sight, scope or night vision mounting options. A 1/2 M.o.A. rear sight
is incorporated into the Removeable Carrying Handle.

The XM15 E2S 20" Rifle is shipped complete with 30 round magazine, instructional
manual and carrying sling, all in a hard plastic shipping case.
