Breacher Paste provides superior charge-to-target contact and adhesion. It's an amber, smooth paste with a bland odor.
The product contains no OSHA regulated ingredients. It does not contain carcinogens or mutagens as defined by OSHA or IARC, nor is it corrosive.
How it Works :
Breacher Paste serves as a fire-resistant intermediate between target
and explosive breaching charge. It assists in holding the charge to the target,
while still permitting precise adjustment of the charge or easy removal of
the charge if the shot is aborted.
For light weight charges, such as "blue-board", Breacher Paste alone will hold the charge to target.
For heavier charges such as HYDRO-CUT or similar, use Breacher Paste
plus a prop stick to hold charge to target. Breacher Paste is an
easy to use replacement for "double sticky" tape, and is far safer
than automotive grease.
Breacher Paste may be used on all types of targets such as wood or
metal doors, stucco, masonry, concrete, etc. and on wet or dry surfaces
over a wide temperature range.
Due to its fire-resistant properties, Breacher Paste reduces the customary "fireball" when the explosive charge is detonated.
Breacher Paste is packaged in soft-sided 5.25 oz. screw-top bottles.
The soft sides allow the contents to be easily applied to the target without
undo
contamination of the operator's hands by just squeezing it as you would a
toothpaste tube.
The container size and type was selected so that it would pack easily and is less susceptible to damage from impact or mission constraints.
