Remington Model 700 BDL RMEF
In continued support of the conservation efforts demonstrated by the Rocky
Mountain Elk Foundation, Remington is pleased to announce a second
commemorative RMEF Model 700 BDL chambered in 7mm Remington Ultra Mag. In
conjunction with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Remington
introduced a special limited edition Model 700 BDL SS in .300 Remington
Ultra Mag in 2001.
Introduced in 2001, the 7mm Remington Ultra Mag is the flattest shooting
big game cartridge available in the market and provides big game hunters with
trajectory
only previously delivered by lightweight varmint calibers. Delivering 24 percent
more energy than the 7mm Remington Magnum and 12 percent more energy than
the 7mm STW, the 7mm Remington Ultra Mag is the perfect solution for medium
and long-range deer and elk.
The Model 700 BDL SS has a 416 stainless steel barreled action with clean
barrel, hinged floorplate, three round magazine capacity and is drilled and
tapped for scope mounts. This specially designed rifle features the Rocky
Mountain Elk Foundation logo laser-etched onto the weather resistant, synthetic
stock and is fully camouflaged in the Elk Foundations official camo,
Realtree® Hardwoods®. A portion of each sale generated from this rifle
will be donated to RMEF to assist them
in their efforts to reintroduce elk into native areas and to preserve natural
habitat for all wildlife.
This commemorative edition of the Model 700 BDL SS in 7mm Remington Ultra Mag will be available for one year only at a suggested retail price of $803.
