Rouger PC Carbine / PC9
The Ruger Carbine is a return to the classic concept of the carbine, updated
with modern refinements and materials. Utilizing four years of research, this
handy
versatile firearm combines features of two of our most popular firearms: the
10/22 and the P-Series pistol. The Ruger Carbine meets the needs of sporting
use,
personal defense, and law enforcement in a trim, accurate autoloading longarm
that uses the same pistol magazines as the Ruger P-Series 9mm and .40 auto
pistols.
The Ruger Carbine's longer barrel and greater weight give better balance,
greater accuracy, and less recoil. Barrel, receiver, slide, and music wire
recoil spring are
all constructed of tough chrome moly-steel and attached to a molded stock
assembly. The high-impact synthetic stock is remarkably durable, and the buttstock
is capped with a non-slip, steel-reinforced rubber buttplate. The fire-control
mechanism, magazine catch, and slide stop are all housed in the stock, providing
rugged durability.
