Weatherby Mark V Threat Responce Rifle
For higher-powered, superior knockdown performance our new Threat Response
rifle is available in a magnum version. Built upon the legendary Mark V
action, our Magnum TRR features the same design as our standard model. It
features a heavy, 26" matte black hand-lapped barrel, bed to a black
hybrid
composite stock. The hand-lapped barrel is finished with an 11-degree parabolic
target crown for the ultimate in accuracy. An optional Talley-designed,
Picatinney-style ring and base system allows for custom mounting of high-powered,
tactical optics.

Talley Picatinney-Style Ring and Base System - NEW!
New for 2002! - Weatherby is now offering new Talley-designed, Picatinney-style
rings and bases. Ideal for the large objective optics used in many tactical
rifle setups. The ring and base system features a “rocker arm” lockdown
system which allows for fast, easy mounting of your scope. The unique system
also
allows you to reposition the scope forward or backward to give you optimum
eye relief and a “custom” mount that fits your individual requirements.
Rings and
bases are constructed of cold rolled carbon steel.
